My Websites
I made my first website on my 13th birthday. In the years since then I have either created or helped create many websites.
Here is a list of them:
-
Elijah Lofgren
http://geocities.com/elijahlofgren/ - The first website I ever made was a geocities website which contained some pictures and a few QuickBasic programs that I had written. It no longer exists; it was probably deleted because of low traffic or because I no longer maintained it. -
Music By Design
http://freewebs.com/musicbydesign/ - The second website that I made was for my homeschool band. It featured pictures, forums, and a lot of annoying things like animated GIFs and scrolling text. ;) -
Music By Design
http://MusicByDesign.comdotnet.com/ - After a while, I moved the Music By Design site for my homeschool band to a different free web server because I got tired of uploading my files one by one and I didn't want to display a link back to freewebs.com. -
PAC Youth
http://PACyouth.comdotnet.com/ - A church that I used to attend wanted me to create a website for the church youth group. I did this using phpNuke. It was never used very much. It contained games, forums, a guestbook, and a calender of events. -
Truth Land
www.TruthLand.com - This was the first website that I tried to promote widely. I submitted it to directories all over the Internet. When I first made it, I filled it with all sorts of articles written by other people that I was allowed to republish as long as I linked back to their site. I eventually removed all that content and decided I wanted TruthLand.com to contain mostly original content. Since then, I've let my Mom use TruthLand.com and put up illustrated verses she has created in PDF form on it. -
Poetry Truth Land
Poetry.TruthLand.com - Poetry Truth Land contains original poetry written by my sister Anna and some of her friends. I created it after getting the idea that I wanted to split TruthLand.com into a smaller individual web sites. -
New England Contractors
www.NEContractors.net - NEContractors.net is a website which allows contractors in New England to pay to create their own website using an easy to use, WYSIWYG editor. It also allows them to list themselves in a directory of contractors which makes up the main part of the web site. This is the first website in which I worked with another person and which was created to make money. I haven't made any money off it yet, but I may eventually if people start signing up. -
Christian Family Fellowship
CFF.TruthLand.com - This is a website for my home church that my friend Joel Hart and I created together. The main part of it is a discussion forum in which the youth of our church are the main posters. It also features a chatroom which is used occasionally when two people are on the website at the same time. -
Heroes of Today
HeroesOfToday.com - I set up a message board on HeroesOfToday.com soon after going attending the July 2004 Heroes Challenge program at Christian Training Center International (CTCI). Now, it is an official website for the Heroes of Today program and owned by CTCI. I still host the site and help run the discussion forum in which people who attended the camp can interact. -
Elijah Lofgren's Website
Elijah.Lofgren.US - My old personal website. I found out that it was a lot easier to tell people "elijahlofgren.com" than "elijah.lofgren.us" so I've switched to elijahlofgren.com. -
Dancer Anna
DancerAnna.com - I bought and set up DancerAnna.com for my sister Anna as a gift on her 15th birthday. -
Elijah Lofgren's Website
ElijahLofgren.com - My current personal web site. -
Social Distancing
SocialDistancing.org - A website created by my Dad that presents an idea of how the average citizen can attempt to avoid exposure to Pandemic Influenza if a pandemic should come.
